STEPS Home Care is proud to sponsor Team Ruden Report for the Fairfield County Walk to End Alzheimer’s Disease on October 13th at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk. Dave Ruden founded the Ruden Report, a popular Fairfield County website covering high school athletics, and walks every year to support his mom Carole.
“My mom Carole was my best friend, biggest supporter and the rock of our family. She suffers from Alzheimer's Disease and the decline over the past decade that has been painful, for me and my family. My mother is still with us, yet I still feel like I lost her. I never had the chance to thank her for helping shape me into the person I am, and for all the sacrifices she made for my happiness,” said Dave.
Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
When you participate in a Walk, your fundraising dollars fuel the mission, and your participation in the event helps to change the level of Alzheimer’s awareness in your community.
If you can’t join us in Norwalk this weekend, donate to our Team Ruden Report or check out these other walks in October in Westchester County, NY and Manhattan.
